Gig Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Software Development Manager, you'll be joining a passionate team of software developers to deliver across the entire app life cycle with a focus on front-end development and User Interface polish.

Work with the product & business team to create a clean and addictive UX
Work with beta customers to help create the experience they want (and don't realize they want)
Create and add new functionalities while maintaining existing ones
Support research, planning, and designing of the product
Communicate solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications

1+ years of experience with application development environments
Published examples of at least one original web application [asset]
Strong testing & debugging skills
Comfortable approaching dev platforms such as Jira and Amazon S3
Comfortable with HTML SCSS
Comfortable with (and learning) JavaScript [Angular, Node.js, PHP Ruby, React, Polymer]
Comfortable with APIs to connect applications to back-end services
Familiar and open to learning version control (git) and full project life cycles
